The Colours of Christmas is the third release in the Thackray archive. A single, unrepeatable artwork created in the palette of the season. Inspired by the poem of the same name, this piece reflects the quiet transformations of the English landscape at Christmastime: the red of winter berries, the deep green of pine and ivy and the soft gold of low winter sun.

Woven from pure mulberry silk and produced as a one-of-one edition, this release is crafted with a double sided print that brings the artwork to life from every angle. It continues our philosophy of rarity, narrative craft and silk works that are never printed again. Every detail is guided by the poem’s imagery, uniting the warmth, stillness and natural beauty of the season in a single hand-crafted piece.
