The Blaze of Blue captures a rare moment of wonder. Inspired by the sudden appearance of a kingfisher gliding through a still morning, the scarf is not a direct portrayal but an evocation of that fleeting encounter. With abstract shapes, negative space, and a palette of cool blues and warm sun tones, the design holds the feeling of stillness interrupted by brilliance.

Each scarf is printed on 100% silk twill and finished with hand-rolled edges. As with all Thackray of England designs, craftsmanship and restraint are central to its creation.

Only fifty pieces exist. Every scarf is individually numbered and will never be reprinted. Priced at £300, this is a collector's piece for those who find meaning in subtlety and elegance.
